Artificial Intelligence is transforming how we understand and model the economy, opening powerful new possibilities while raising real questions about its limits. This workshop brings together leading AI experts, academic researchers, international institutions, and policymakers from a wide range of areas to explore where AI genuinely pushes economic modelling and analysis forward, and where caution is still needed.
With a high-level programme combining keynote speeches by Carla Gomes and Anton Korinek, experts’ insights with structured and collaborative discussion, participants will exchange knowledge, uncover common ground, and help shape the strategic direction for the responsible use of AI in economic research for policy support.
