ESTRENATE 2015.

CIA. ELLO TEATRO. “ FREUD 2.0”.

Men touch each other with blows. An energetic duo about masculine construction. A deconstruction of the contemporary virile behaviour, acclaimed by some and questioned by many. CLINCH in boxing is the moment in which the two boxers hug and block each other until the referee separates them. This movement is about getting as close as possible to your rival to protect yourself from their attack. CLINCH exposes the most toxic masculinity, established in the competition, the denial and the confrontation to all that is different. Furthermore, the denial of feelings, excluding rage or fury, that must be demonstrated through the exercise of violence.

Quizá lo más interesante de esta obra teatral sea su planteamiento ya que, al estar frente a teatro experimental, su estructura descansa en la teoría freudiana del ello, el yo y el super-yo. Estos tres elementos se hacen personajes en escena e interactúan entre ellos aportándonos la trama.
En este sentido tenemos a Pedro Aguilar (el “yo”), joven político de la derecha que, teniendo una contradicción interna, se debatirá entre ser (a instancias del “ello”) o parecer (a instancias del “super-yo).
Nos mostrará las tensiones a las que estamos abocados los hombres cuando nos enfrentamos a ser uno mismo o el parecer un otro ajeno a sí mismo. Quizá huir no sea la solución, sino mostrarse tal como se es. ¿ser o no ser? ¿ser o parecer?, he ahí el dilema de esta cuestión.
